The ETHER-OVP module is a surge voltage protection device for the Ethernet communication between Fortica devices in one or more buildings. The ETHER-OVP module protects the Ethernet connection in case of surges due to lightning strikes, for example. The distance between two Forticas must not exceed 100 m (328 ft). You can interconnect up to 50 Forticas.
